Get the gas engine. If you are concerned take a gallon of gas with you. Have tried every brand of electric pump out there average life span of 1 day to at best 15 months. Only problem we have had with the emduraplas with Honda is seal on the pump, fairly easy to replace. Love the continous flow rate and pressure you gain with the Honda also.
