Speaking of the U.P., a few years back it seemed every time you turned around there would be an article published making fun of unique high school mascots (I'm the opposite, I love unique and relevant to the area mascots) and the Watersmeet, MI Nimrods would usually be lauded as one of the stupidest mascots in the country. Even though the first and real definition of Nimrod is as an expert hunter named after biblical character Nimrod who was a master hunter. |
