SENE | I have sprayed behind the planter for the last 10 years. I figure personally it saves me 1/3 the amount of seat not having to go back and spray after I have planter and I agree with the having the field done when you pull out at the end of the day. Also everything we farm is terraced and I have very little trouble with waterways. I have everything set up on a ag leader integra for the sprayer, seed clutches, planter monitor, and auto steer. I t works great and once it is set all I have to do is monitor once I get going. I run 12.5 GPA with atrazine and sure start, all in conventional till. As far as the drift go that is bogus. My nozzles are set at 20 inches off the ground and if I have to spray up the end without planting the nozzles are still roughly the same height as most applicators run their booms.
