NE Iowa | Been spraying off of both my planter and no-till drill for years. Very happy with it and would hate to give it up. If you spray before you plant the row cleaners can cause streaks in control. If you wait until after planting you can get caught with a bunch of rain. I've used both 10 GPA of water and 28% as a carrier before. The tips are mounted low, the pressure is low, and the planter blocks the wind so have never stopped spraying because of wind. | |
