Central Nebraska
We have banded pre for 30 years or longer. Run 6-7gal/ac, nozzles are bout 10" up and cover bout 40% of row. Being that close to ground wind usually doesnt bother me. We have been running a quart of keystone per acre (which is really 2.5qt/ac in the band.) Should add that it is conventional tillage and usually come back with a cultivator at some point.
My saddle tanks are big enough that I plant a quarter without refilling chemical. Just need to add seed, which opens up who can bring the pickup to me instead of the semi.
