Nc Ks. | Years ago when they banded just a strip over the row, the nozzles were close to the ground so wind wasn't as much an issue like it would be with a sprayer. Might have to run nozzles on 15in. centers but would think if there were nozzles back then that worked, there would be something available today. And some guys swore it worked better being applied on the moist dirt thrown open by the planter vs. coming back later over the top after the ground had dried a little. I was just a young guy then working for a farmer so just repeating what I saw and heard then. | |
