ID is 8 .90625 Wall thickness of pipe is just a tad under 3/8" .
The powder chamber is where all the explosive power is contained . The tube is just a directional guide and expansion chamber .
If you look in the second picture you see the powder chamber . Heavy piece of solid steel bored out to safety specs. + in other words over sized for what engineering standards call for. Safety First .
Ignition is with cannon fuse . 1F black powder will be the grade used in this application .
Test firing will be this coming week . I hope to get a video and will see if I can host it on my ISP .
Fun project . 4th of July will be a blast ! :>)
