E.Central MN | I think it was mentioned that some govt road officials were suggesting using more concrete instead of blacktop, so longevity isn't the issue. In the rural areas they recoat an asphalt surface by spraying on some type of oil and then spreading gravel over the top and pack it. Seems the color of the gravel can vary depending on what part of the country it is. Maybe they will have to specify light colored(not necessarily white) gravel for that application. Whatever, sure is nice to hear someone that isn't just interested in banning all combustion engines for a change. | |
