Subject: RE: Westfield Auger Hitch Bracket

North Central Montana (Conrad)
I have 3 of them. Two PTO and one gas. I have a 7 inch 46 footer with a honda engine with the hydraulic mover on it. I also run the bin sweep with those hydraulics when in the bin. Self contained and easy to move. Love it! Never any issues with the auger and its the one I run the most. Not sure about switching them over to other drives. Probably just a change in pulleys.

The PTO ones are longer and bigger. My 10x71 has developed an internal leak in the lift cylinder. It drifts down very slowly sitting there. The bottom bearing has a tendancy to go out from water getting in it. I have now put in a greasable bearing and then cut a hold in the shroud so I can grease it so easy that it gets done very often. Haven't had to change the bearing since. Good augers. Easy to tow and maintain.
