Sledge, do you know enough about our whole force and this situation to say the whole force should be fired? I agree his behavior was outta line, but without knowing what they knew and when they they knew it, the copability of the rest of the force can’t be determined. Also firing isn’t always a simple process, it’s about like going to court. One has to make sure the evidence of justification for firing is there. I agree he needed to go, however with what we know at this point the cooabilty of others can’t be determined, however it certainly is in question. The whole city council needs to review the tape/vid and review the "Perception" that is painted on AgTalk (if little old AgTalk has the perception, what do the locals and residents of the town think) . . . . . Reality or not, when a perception is painted as black as it seems, the City needs to take ACTION very quickly. Have a public perception of "Doubt" with your police force is very, very, very bad. The city should send every officer to some workshops to change their ways or fire them - NOW. No ifs and or but's too it, change the perception or get them out of there and get in new blood to serve and assist the residents of the town. If I lived in the area, it would be front and center of the towns council meetings agenda . . . . . . |
