I just hang it on the brace rod under the main tube with the draw pin.
Ours would have disappeared some time ago if we did that, when the scrap thieves came through and took everything that wasn’t bolted down and a few things that were. All the motor mounting bolts on the auger are welded now, and that hitch bracket gets taken back to the shop and stored away so we can look for it for 20 minutes every time we want to use the auger.
