Subject: RE: grain carts - walking tandems/ one big tire

Southeast Colorado
Haven't heard anyone talk about bouncing over pivot tracks yet. I used to have a smaller 400 bu cart and about tore it up bouncing over tracks. Got an Unverfurth 800 bushel cart with a 30.5x32 and it rolls over the tracks pretty good. Can't afford to upgrade now but most of the guys here run the walking tandems so they can stay off the row. Have never pulled one myself so not sure how they bounce?? Also would be curious how a tracked cart handles pivot tracks as well even though I'd probably never spend the money in this normally dry country. Hoping someone here shares their experiences. I can guarantee you don't want a straight tandem axle cart where you get the fun of bouncing over every single track twice.
