Subject: RE: grain carts - walking tandems/ one big tire

Have a Brent 1194 on tracks now, had an 1084 with row crop duals before, worked fine when conditions were good the problem I had was in wet conditions one tire would go down and the other up and you were screwed even after emptying the cart it was hard to pull out as there would be a huge pile of corn leaves and mud in front of the down tire and it couldn't "climb" over it so it would slide/push until you got to dry ground and then it would "hop" over it and be fine. Didn't happen often but was a PIA when it did, with tracks I have never been stuck, I would get a big single before getting a walking tandem setup again.
