Carbondale, KS | What a noble person you are, I just raise corn to make money. You've already decided to use AA so why do you care what others think?
But, since you took time to stir the pot and I wasted some time replying I might as well play along. Already have a nurse truck for the sprayer so it pulls double duty nursing the applicator. Over the last 15 years I have been able to source 32 for just over a nickel more per # than AA. Does that nickel buy an AA rig and fuel and maintenance, maybe, I dunno. I run a 40' low disturbance applicator at 8.5 mph and avg about .2 gpa worth of fuel. If I was starting from scratch i'd probably go with AA but i'm not so unless the economics really change there is zero incentive for me to change but it has nothing to do w/being anti-AA. If you are so worried about losing N that you are adding those things then you better be adding it to your AA too.
