| Take a battery out of a lawnmower (you need a small one) jump start with that and then use a meter to check the voltage. No way would I start one off a charger, that is asking for problems. If the battery is flat dead, dried out or if it has gone open it will act like that. If you jump with a large battery the charging system may not have enough behind it to raise the voltage anything significant.
If it was me I’d pass anyway. Viragos always seemed to have starter issues. | |
