I think a lot has changed in the last 90 days. Lack of fall tillage, very little fall NH3, looks like yields are lower than previously expected, soybeans have made a nice price run, Brazil soybean crop starting to go backwards, nitrogen cost have gone up significantly etc. My point is I think it is highly unlikely corn gets anywhere near the acreage that was discussed last fall. I'm holding out for higher corn prices until further notice.
What is the reasoning behind tillage and nh3 application? Isn't it possible to apply a fertilizer in the spring and no till the corn in? |
