Michigan | It depends on what they are looking to see. Frankenmuth is nice - good places to stay and eat. Traverse City is real popular but it is a little out of thier way. There are pretty good fishing charters on the western side for salmon. The Saginaw Bay has an excellent walleye fishery. Mackinaw City and Mackinaw Island are right on the southern side of the Mackinaw bridge and are both real nice. You can take a day trip to the island that they would probably really like. If they like to golf there are a ton of golf corses in the areas they will be traveling. The Soo locks are also pretty interesting - they are located in Sault St Marie - this is Tim Allen talking about that area http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyTJPvBgaK4 There are also quite a few indian casinos - I have not been but they seem popular. Here also is a link to Michigan's travel and tourism site - http://www.michigan.org/Places-to-Go/Default.aspx Normal temps are probably similar to yours - low to mid 70's F for highs during the day cooler at night - also cooler by the lakes - It could just as easily be 90 F or 60 F - a local saying goes "if you don't like the weather wait a day" or something like that. It has been cooler here all spring. Here is a link to a 7 day site they can check before they go http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Munger&state=... this would be a mid-Michigan forcast that is pretty accurate.
