| Agronomically, it’s not necessarily important. But as has been discussed in several threads lately, there’s simply not enough infrastructure in the countryside to overcome an almost total shutout on fall applications without an extremely favorable spring season- and there are so many millions of acres that are excessively wet that it’s just hard to see an easy way out. The only good thing is that a whole lot more equipment exists now to make in-crop applications compared to say 20 years ago. | |
