South Central Iowa | This is a good point Bert... I've never been impressed with Bezos. He is just the Sears Catalog of the internet. The internet is a far better medium than the catalog was. He is not a genius nor a true tech person like those you mentioned or many of the other innovators of Silicon Valley and Seattle.
Another angle, maybe this is actually some strategic thing? Something to allow her out and a reason to sell half of their shares without scaring people? Getting down in the conspiracy territory here, but maybe.
If there comes a big short along a stock market crash, I hope Tesla dies too. It doesn't make money or have much of a future either. Real car companies will take the EV market if ever it actually materializes.... Very over Elon, like Bezos, he doesn't really impress me. EV's will go the way of other recent hype: 3D printers, Wearables (Google Glass), and ohhh, looks like Virtual Reality joining the show:
