Farmington IL | We had a situation start a few years back with a neighbor. It wasnt a big deal, the usuall if they got there first they planted around fence post and ten feet out on to the next farm. Really pisses you off but doesnt hurt too much. Finally knowing full well there was no point to fighting with them we took it up with their landowner. We allready had a relationship with the gentleman that owned the farm and he said he would talk to them and that anytime I wanted to tear out or mow their corn off or spray and kill what was on our side of the line to go right ahead and do it. They still havent quit planting on my side but I keep pushing them back and I really have developed a nice realtionship with their landowner. He stops in and visits on occaision ,we trade stories, I have given him a hand with his compact tractor a time or two and I give him bags of ear corn for his squirrels and his wife bakes me the best homemade apple pies. | |
