8 rows X 1/2 mile = 1.2 acres. The "farmer" in question probably farms over 30,000 acres (right or wrong, at one time was considered to be the largest farmer in Illinois, maybe still is). Skeet's 1.2 acres probably isn't considered too high on the priority scale.
