| My aunt has been given the runaround at the local authorized DMV (local city cop shop) for not being able to read some of the squinty things on the eye chart.
She is 81 and otherwise in pretty good shape for her age. I'd certainly rather ride with her than her son who is my age.
There is another DMV station run daily by the county treasurer in the next town over. Both of us have gone there to renew our licenses. Goes very smoothly with no hassle.
I suspect the local small town cop shop is like many others. The people running it sort of unneccesarily feel their importance. | |
