NW Minnesota
I drew it out and it leaves one row outside of the bio-strip row on one end of the drill and two on the other end. So one end of the drill leaves two rye strips in stead of the normal three rows between the bio-strip, and the other end of the drill leaves three rows of rye, with the center row planted twice, or if I plug that row then both ends leave two. I could possibly add another opener on the one end so that there is always an overlap. This seems like the best plan. The offset would be the same as for planting soybeans, but every other row of that rank would plant a bio-strip while the other rows and the entire other rank plants rye. I kind of like this layout because when I come back and inter-plant the corn I will be planting two rows between the three rye rows and not disturb the rye roots. This has gotten complicated, but worth it.
