No I do not need to pair the rows. It was just the only way I could figure out how to make it work. Your idea makes sense though and I will give it some thought. I am planting 8-30 now so 20' and drill is 30' so that complicates things. I will have to lay out 12 row bio-strips until I get a larger planter. I can see your plan working but not sure if the end rows will be the same. Your plan seeds two rows with rye and two without if I understand correctly. That would leave the rows of rye more equally spaced in the spring with a space for the corn but also a space in the row middles open. With three tanks, I could send rye to both ranks but plug every other one on back rank. Then maybe run a new tower to feed the plugged hoses from my second shoot. You guys are giving me some good ideas. Switching hoses around is not an easy task and has obvious disadvantages.
