You can plant with both seed tanks, one for front rank and the other

for the rear rank.  Your drill tank 1900 or 1910 has a door to blank off

for doing each side.  You can also block those extra runs by plugging

the manifold to block off those runs you don't want to use.  Use cap plugs

or similar.  That way you should not have to move any hoses.

that wont work for his scenario. he needs to plant 7.5 inch so one front gang unit and one back gang with same seed. and then the next 2 rows same scenario, but different seed. he will have to move hoses. id think moving and extending hoses would work good enough for what hes trying to do.

This method will not allow twin rows, but a single 15, then block and plant the other

rank.  It would be on 30" with each rank.  Moving hoses is hard, no place for

the extra hose.
