SE Washington | Sat for 20 years because it wasn't worth fixing. Pulled it behind the shop and there it sat. When it went down it was replaced with a AC 440 with a cummins swap, also had another old White 4-150 so not much use for an old 2wd tractor that didn't even have ac. We always seemed to have odball equipment. Tractor prior to the 5020 was a Cat d4. Still have all of them, I'm not in the business of restoring tractors although it'd be fun if not profitable.
John, thanks for the info I enjoy about hearing about how things were before I was around. Local JD salesman that just retired was telling me once about these tractors that Deere had up in the hills experimenting with different tires and ballasting to figure out how to make them stick to the hillsides, I imagine that's why it's got the diamond tread front tires.
