You sure that wasn't a 2010? The term POS is way more commonly associated with them than a 2510...
The 2510's biggest weakness was the stupid 4-piston hydraulic pump. JD had a program to upgrade them to an 8-piston, but a lot of them didn't get it...I just changed one to an 8-piston last year.
