| Neighbor across road used his uncle JD 2510 tricycle front end diesel tractor with a JD 120 one row corn picker. It was a semi mounted to the rear of the tractor, not something unhitch from the tractor quickly by looks of everything. They brought the picker together. It was neat outfit, this was about 38 years ago. Few years later neighbor brought a New Idea 309 pull type picker that he could pull with his own tractor.
I think back then a lot of farmers use 50 PTO horsepower tractors to pull one row silage choppers for these 30 to 50 cows dairy farms, aleast in my area in Middle Tennessee.
