Really? Which of Obama's polices helped the economy? What was that 700 and some billion spent on? Shovel ready jobs? Think of the economy as a car, republicans drive conservatively and carefully but when dems get behind the wheel they floor it and use up all the gas the republicans saved and then they say look how great we have done.
Shovel ready jobs is the latest Fox talking point, isn't it? You do understand the need to shore up the economy when several trillion dollars of wealth evaporated.
Tell me, since when have the republicans driven conservatively? Every time they gain control, they cut taxes, mainly for the folks who need it least, and ramp up spending on defense. Then they're shocked when the deficit increases. That leads them to their favorite mantra, "we've got to cut entitlements". So they go after social security, Medicare and Medicaid, SNAP and everything that benefits the poor and needy. They really become the know nothing party. |
