California is just the largest. Illinois is arguably the worst run, most corrupt, etc.
California's financial problems are just starting to get really serious. Between their natural disasters, crumbling infrastructure and the choo-choo to nowhere, they're burning cash in huge piles already. The CalPERS problem is going to start to suck billions out of their general fund at a time when the state really doesn't have any money to spare. |
