SE Nebraska | About 10 days ago all of the power was out in Joplin after the storm. When it came back on Walmarts computer sytem was still down, but they were open. They had to look up each item in theuir book and then add up the total with a calculator. (If they simply priced the items as they put them on the shelf as stores did years ago it would have been easier. ) I heard one supervisor complaining they were going to have to enter all of the transactions in the system once it was up and running to keep inventory correct. It was worth the wait just to watch the show. | |
