That makes a lot more sense. I agree, there has been asset inflation. Stocks, real estate, bonds, et al.
The CPI hasn't reflected it at all because of commodity gluts and all of our imports lower the cost of living.
It blows my mind too how many people with average jobs all over the place have $250K houses, 3 $50K cars, a Harley, a bass boat or camper, fancy clothes, dine out and entertainment all the time, kids... All with $100-$120K gross income from two salaries... | |
