| not in the stock market and never have been mainly due to dire stories told by depression era parents. So my take on the market is different in that view just as view the commodity market or land market, no difference. Rise and fall based on fear and greed, supply and demand. Everyone jumps in on a "hot" stock everyone bails on a "bad" earnings report. Guess you could view different segments of the market like you could view corn, beans, wheat, oil. Corn like the manufacturing stocks, beans like the tech stocks, wheat like the utilities, and oil like industrials. Weather could be interest rates, demand would be demand in either case. Right now the supply is outrunning demand so prices fall until find a bottom. Where that will be? when fear runs out and greed steps back in. Everybody who were going to jump out the windows has done so and only the strong hands remain. Maybe to simplistic but mho. | |
