Schochoh Ky | Is it possible to spring apply the band or will the band be to concentrated and kill germ of seed close to the band . We can only spring apply n , in the spring , do not get cold enough to prevent the n from leaving.A few years ago , neighbor applied urea with fertilizer attachment on planter, early , late February, followed first week of April with p and k on top of urea band and planted same pass. Resulted in 50-60% stand . Just too hot , too close to seed. Don't know anyone else that has tried similar ideas. A few guys are stripp tilling the p and k with good results. | |
