Churdan, IA | We have tested both ways. There is a benefit to putting all nutrients together. If you just do Urea vs NH3 and broadcast the other nutrients, the yield advantage range tends to be 3-7bpa for urea. If you band nutrients with NH3 though in a dual placement scenario, the nh3 seems to negate the banding advantage. The microbe kill from nh3 is what we see as the difference. | |
