Shelby, MT | I gave up on finding the list.....
I questioned the motive notifying any dealers at all. I was under the belief that GM couldn't cut any dealers without it costing them Billions of dollars, unless they filed bankruptcy. Filing bankruptcy voided the franchise agreements or allowed for the cancelation without any adverse costs. When GM cut Olds it cost them billions to pay off dealers and such. It looked like GM was excited to announce it or was already planning on bankruptcy and was giving the dealers a heads up...
After today's scuttle of California taking over the auto industry I would say it is getting more and more of a 99% chance that GM and Chrysler and now prob Ford that 2 or all 3 won't make it.....Chrysler had leaked a few months ago that they had no new development even planed or scheduled...how in the world would they magically leap ahead and get back in the chase....Oh ya Fiat.... ha ha...So with the likely hood of a company making it GM should have sent out notices to all 6400 dealers.... | |
