Western Ky. | So, it weighed 900 tons. Do a search for The Stone of the Pregnant woman. It is estimated to weigh 1600 tones. Ancient people quarried similar stones from the quarry where this stone is located and moved them seven miles across a valley and up a big hill/mountain to build The Temple of Jupiter. I believe the largest ones in the temple are about a thousand tons. How were they able to accomplish this?
