Purdueville, IL | I have gone back over planted corn with only insicticide running a couple of times, although it was the same day of planting. I had pretty good luck with it, using SF2. I would be a little leary of 10-11 days after planting though. Maybe off to the side a couple inches (since you are RTK) or half rate on both sides, since I'm assuming you may be too wet to do much else field work for a few days? I also ran the planter over a couple acres two years ago with all pressure off and about 1/2" deep (SF2 as well), as a trial, because we were hoeing and didn't like the job the hoe was doing. At the time, the corn was about 10% spiking. I didn't see a difference in stand afterwards between the hoe and running the planter over it....FWIW | |
