Northwest Illinois | I had halo on nearly every acre of soybeans in 2018 with lighter soils being the worst. The only thing I can pick out in common with all custom beans or my beans was the use of metribuzin. Where it was sprayed on top rather than incorporated, the halo effect was more visible. It seemed as if it slowed them down enough to question spraying fomesafen (timing). I saw no real pattern to these areas in yield with some areas being better. Sprayed on the 19th of April and planted the 29th with the last field planted on the 4th of may.
