David Loberg Northeast Nebraska | Maybe it's different there, but all my neighbor's one pass systems are the reason I'm considering 30" beans and a cultivator this year. Planning on a two pass program gets you out there early and spraying weeds before they get tall. A few people tried a one pass around here, realized it wasn't working come August, went out and sprayed 12"+ marestail, irritated it slightly, so used half rate of other chemistries, and it's been impossible to kill ever since.
