Nebraska | Before, prepaint and finished product.
I had it sandblasted and painted with epoxy based truck frame paint at a nearby shop that does blasting and painting. They did a heck of a good job. Paint is nice and thick. If I keep it washed up it should last the rest of my career.
I went to purchase just the spreader box, I was going to build my own frame to mount it on and saw they had the floater just sitting there. I bought the floater for $2500. So they put the box back on and trucked it to me. There is no way possible I could have bought the steel, axles wheels and tires for that. And I was able to sell the engine/transmission to a salvage yard. And I still have a spare floater tire and a TON of odds and ends here that I stripped off the machine. I should make a deer stand out of the old cab....
But it has been awesome for gypsum, lime and am starting to apply Urea & AMS preplant in the spring.
