I agree, there's some heavy Simmi influence. I know ears....we grow ears here. LOL Buy both, one will end up being gimpy and the other one will shine. Granted we've only done it once, but I'm convinced to not have same age brothers in the herd. We raised one and bought another bull. Same Sire different DAM......they fought fought fought, finally the one we raised(fortunately, I suppose) came up lame on his hip. Every day, he woke up thinking "this is the day I'm going to be able to beat up my brother". He tried, got very very close, but always lost. Reminds me of human brothers....always competing. My thoughts.

What are you gonna breed with one of those? You’re not worried that if you breed them to bwf cows you’ll get some hereford calves? Or are they homozygous black?


Any Hereford blood in them would have to be waaaaay back down the line. Those are Simmental bull calves, not black baldies.
