Beresford, SD | In the west again. I got 116 for six loads.....am load 3% at coop scales freight paid......It was a choice between that or 187 I pay freight. Had 4 packers on the hook. Nothing better to be found, and I played hard ball. Started the am Friday with a low ball of 113....piss off bid. Sold'em at 4 pm Friday. Things came around. I'm out till after the first of the year then got 6 more loads then done till fall of 2019....gonna get 120+ my bet. Gotta realize the west trades with a pm. Load.....4% feedlot scales.....then delivered. Bright side took the wife and our daughter out for supper...(my son had a hot date and was cruising around in his pickup, yeah he didn't join us.)........seen district manager (Dekalb) at steak house....he picked up our tab. Made my day! Hmmmmmm, prime rib and a hand full of Coors lights. Was a good way to end the week.
