| We have 2, a 7200 and an 8720. Mostly they are good, tough spreaders. They don't like bedding pack, you need to load all to the front and don't overload it. You will bring 1/4 of the load back with you because it gets caught in the door. Unload manure, sandy manure easily. Don't like cement or rock, if it gets caught in the T in back you will be pitching. Mostly I like the spreaders, they are great as long as your not running pen pack. But I don't know a spreader that does. If commodity prices ever turn around, we might try an apron spreader with vertical beaters. Be it a Knight or Hagedorn, or some other Canadian brand. | |
