Subject: RE: Light Feed and Osborne Feeders

When we used to have a nursery with 3 bu Osborne feeders in it we had agitators that hung down from the angle iron cross bar on the top of the feeder.

Basically they were a rod (threaded on top to adjust height) that hung down 3/4 or so of the way down the feeder with an eye on it and then another rod with an eye on the top side that was through the eye of the top rod.     The bottom one was low enough to hit the flat iron that spins in the bottom of the feeder.

In my crude crude drawing the black bar on top is the one that the cone hangs from and the black bar across the bottom is the rotating flat iron.

The two brown things on both sides are the agitators.

Never mind that the feeder has no sides.   I'm not that good with "paint".
