For roughly $150 Microsoft will be happy to give you an upgrade.
My software requirements are simple. They all run on XP just fine. The big bennifit to buying a new copy of windows over getting a restore disk from HP is that I don't have to pay someone to remove all the crap I don't want. I am still waiting for the teck to get to mine though.
