Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80 | Did your housing already have the throttle shaft bushing? If so, then that would be an acceptable repair(just a new lip-seal), because once the bushing is installed, in an older original housing (w/ All aluminum bores), there isn't hardly any wear that occurs. Note: That bushing is the same part number that , we installed in CAT 3406B governors, for their throttle shafts, when the all aluminum bores worn out and caused oil leaks/seeps on those governors.(used the same 2 reamers, with a different bore alignment tool.) |
