Maybe we met the same rancher...red steer with a set of horns that wouldn't fit
in a 8' trailer. Guy I met was about an hour from Bozeman.
He said it was his lead steer, hang a loop around one horn and take the herd anywhere.
He also told me he had a spot over the fire place for him....... If the steer died first :)
