Have no Idea what your conditions are but we have clay ,mud in Tennessee. It is the kind that takes you boot with it if not careful. Our solution to a temporary mound would to feed our worst fescue hay without a ring and after three days and three bale you will have a dry mound. Getting to it will require something similar. Temporary at best.
