We built one just like yours out of an old 6 row cultivator. I don’t have the geometry correct on the top link and lower pins as it won’t lift a bale very high but other than that it works fine.
If going a longer ways, I back up to it tight with apparatus on the ground, then squeeze. Lifts higher, easier on everything, easy to center as you sit pretty high when ready to feed.
Same way with hydrabed, running down the road---get totally under second bale, it rides closer, don't shake the center, weight is lower. |
